It is located at 200 Stuart Street. Originally a movie theater, it features live entertainment as the Stuart Street Playhouse beginning in 1996. It reopens as an “art house” movie theatre while retaining that name on October 30, 2009. It is renovated and reopens as Theatre 1, a 225-seat space for movies, live performances and short-run plays in April 2012.
